The answer to this question should ALWAYS BE YES, I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS.

Why should you have some questions?

First, this is not just an interview to find out what kind of a person you are but also the other way around. You want to also find out if this company you are applying to is a good company and a place you want to work the next several years and spend 30-50% of your time. Is it a good company and are the people good?

Second, you want to sound interested in the company and just answering here, no I have no questions, looks like you are a little bit lazy and not perhaps interested in the company and even to learn more.

Might sound weird to you but many times it is about perception.

If you at least receive to sound interested then it looked like you tried.

You definitely need to have 3-5 questions ready to ask showing your interest in the company and showing that you have looked into the company and the industry perhaps as well.

Don’t necessarily go into ridiculous detail and also don’t roll out your list of 100 questions.

Conclusion: Yes, you need to have questions ready as they will only make you look like a proactive and interested candidate.
